Markers and Monuments

These markers are sculptural art commissioned by the Valley Rico Cemetery, and were created by local artist(s). The sculptures are made of metal and ceramic; reclaimed pieces of old farm equipment, machinery and other historical metal pieces were fused together with rebar and brightly-colored sculpted metal flowers.

The eventual plan for these markers is to have QR codes affixed to them; when visitors scan the QR codes with their phones/devices, directions to various deceased / graves will be displayed for easy on-the-ground navigation.
